No Scrap Left Behind : A Finished Mini Quilt

hi, my name is Jess and i LOVE Lizzy House and her fabrics! so every little scrap is precious and i must use as much as possible. so hence this No Scrap Left Behind Mini. i have been cutting up my scraps for a scrappy Lizzy House Quilt and some cushions. and these were left. so i decided they needed to become a little rainbow mini quilt. plus i love my binding, i used the teeny tiny scraps and it just might be my favorite part. as for the quilting, i love straight line quilting. so lately i have been playing around with various straight line quilting designs. i just love this little mini and it is just the perfect addition to my mini quilt gallery in my sewing room. Quilt Stats Pattern: designed by me Dimensions: 11 inches x 7 inches Quilting: Straight line Fabrics: Lizzy House Mini Pearl Bracelets and Moda Bella Solids in Zen Grey

WiP : Cotton + Steel Modern HST Sampler

i am SO excited to have this quilt top done! last year i participated in the Modern HST Sampler hosted by Blossom Heart Quilts.  i used my Cotton+Steel stash with Essex Yarn Dyed Linen for the background. i love the final effect but working with the linen was a little difficult. but it was a nice challenge. i added a scrappy 4-patch border to finish off the top and i love how it has turned out. right now i'm working on the backing and i can't wait to get this one quilted up. this was such a fun project to work on throughout last year. i enjoyed just making one block at a time, i was able to enjoy the process and take it slow. which is something that i don't always do, so this was a nice change of pace.
