i have an amazing group of ladies who all love quilting and getting together. so we gather every couple of months to meet and swap mini quilts, mug rugs, or pillows. this last swap we decided on making a mini with a log cabin block, a traditional pineapple block, or an actually pineapple block. lucky for me, my partner requested an actual pineapple block. well a few months ago i designed a pineapple block for myself for my Wall of Geekdom. so this was the perfect opportunity to revisit this pattern and make sure it still worked. well obviously my pattern still worked! and after making it again, i now want a rainbow of pineapple for a quilt. i loved the colors my swap partner requested! my girls kept asking me why i was making a blue, gray, and peach pineapples because they are not those colors. the quilting i decided a standard 1/2 inch grid quilting pattern. plus what is becoming my signature binding, a chunky binding. i love a good chunky binding!
