Triangle Rainbow Spectrum Mini Quilt | A Finished Quilt

Another quilt finish, oh my!

Right before my family and I moved to the UP, a few of my quilty friends started a little swap group. We made a mini with our theme for that swap. Then we would get together for dinner and swap mini's. So I have continued to swap with them and traveling down to visit and swap, minus a few weather hiccups. Well this round we went virtual due to COVID-19, but still had an enjoyable time. And bonus for me I didn't have to travel.

So this round was rainbow themed. Between putting our house of the market and our upcoming move, I was at a lose as to what I wanted to make. Lately I've been playing around with different angles and I love triangles, so why not a rainbow triangle mini.

I used 2 inch equilateral triangles cut from my stash. I played around with the layout quite a bit it get it just right. Once it was stitched together, I added the the low volume white as a border. To finish it off I used black for my binding, I love that it looks like a framed piece of modern art. And I am just itching to make myself one as well.

It is nice to be finishing quilts again,

  2. It is fun to get to play with fabric that has a special meaning. This is a lovely little quilt and fun to have it finished, too, in this "moving" time.
