two posts in one week, oh my!
Happy Halloween! time to bust out my Christmas projects! last year i finished up a Christmas quilt right before the holiday. well this year i am going to add to my quilty Christmas decor! i had this adorable charm pack in my stash from Sweetwater fabrics and just knew it was destined for new cushion covers.
from my pack i can make 3 covers! this first one i combined the charm pack with a little Essex Yarn Dyed Linen in Black from Robert Kaufman and just love it. i have another one ready to go, that will be paired with a red chambray leftover from some shorts i made this summer. i haven't decided what i will use for the background for the last pillow, but i'm leaning toward some type of green linen.
have to love some improvising when making. i added the border since my cover would have been too small otherwise. but now that it is all stitched together i love how it looks. love when a minor problem actually makes the finally product better!
